Online Pass is a code granting access to online features for a specific game, often used in pre-owned games.

Online Pass is a code or digital token required to access online multiplayer or additional content in a video game. It was commonly used by game developers and publishers to encourage the purchase of new games rather than pre-owned ones. When you buy a new game, an Online Pass is typically included. If you buy a used game, you may need to purchase a new Online Pass separately. This system was more prevalent in the early 2010s but has since become less common as digital distribution and other monetization strategies have evolved.
